Verve sees Austin as a natural location for expansion, joining the ranks of top startups and agencies that have established a foothold in Texas’ most digital city. Home to the renowned SXSW festival and over 5,500 high tech companies, it ranked 1st on CNBC’s 2016 list of top 20 American cities in which to start a business. The new office is Verve’s 8th sales office worldwide and will serve brands and advertisers throughout Texas and the southwestern United States.
Verve has hired Joe Tartaglia, an industry veteran with over 20 years in digital media, including time with Perk, DailyMotion, and GroupM, to lead efforts in Austin as Regional Sales Director. Tartaglia’s well-rounded expertise, including leadership positions on the agency, client, and publisher sides of the business, makes him well suited to build Verve’s business in the region and expand a portfolio of clients that currently include Whole Foods Market, Texas Lottery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Dell.
