Debut First Hands-On Immersive Technology Experience
Advertising Week, the world’s largest gathering of industry leaders across advertising, technology, business, entertainment, marketing, media and social good, announced the launch of a new immersive technology experience: AW TechX which will take place at their upcoming event in NY September 25 through the 29th. TechX, a pop-up experience, will take place at street level at 4 Times Square.
AW TechX will feature a hands-on journey through interactive installations, innovations, and bleeding edge tech advancements — haptics, holograms, AI, VR, and AR. Sourcing from startups, corporate and university research labs and AW’s global networks, Experiential Advertising Group and VentureFuel have created a curated experience unlike anything done before at Advertising Week.
Scheduled tours are available to all Delegates. Additionally, private, contextualized company tours of TechX will allow attendees to not only play and touch the leading technology tools but also hear experts share insights into what these technologies represent to their individual companies. And, more importantly, how they can be used to engage today’s hard-to-reach consumers and advance business practices.
“There is a knowledge gap within our industry between those creating the next generation of technology and the executives challenged to utilize it for their clients,” said Lance Pillersdorf, co-founder and COO of Advertising Week. “We wanted to address this by carefully curating an experience that allows us to provide attendees an unbiased evaluation and contextual understanding of the power of these innovations. Technology is continuing to shape our industry and TechX is our way of giving Advertising Week Delegates a one-of-a-kind experience within an already packed thought leadership program.”
David Polinchock, founder & CEO, Experiential Advertising Group, noted that it’s been very exciting to work with the Advertising Week team to create this new space and showcase the cutting-edge experiences. What’s really important is that in addition to being curated, we’re making sure that we put things in context, so advertisers can not only see what’s out there, but also understand how they create value for brands and agencies.”
“To be able to lift the curtain and show off what’s next at Advertising Week is a great honor. Further, having our teams do deep dives with the marketers and agencies to show how innovation can deliver on their specific KPIs and demonstrate solutions they may not have even known about – that is a value proposition that no other conference in the world is providing,” adds Fred Schonenberg, founder & CEO, VentureFuel. “.”
