Global Digital Agency Crowd Turns 5

In 2017 Alone, The Crowd Team Has Grown Over 30 Percent

Founded in 2012 by local entrepreneur Jamie Sergeant, Crowd’s original Bournemouth office has seen their services explode globally in order to cater to an international client base. In just five years, successful expansion from their south coast UK base has meant opening six additional offices across five countries and four continents – with each providing their uniquely British touch.

#TeamCrowd is now made up of 33 digital enthusiasts and is constantly looking to grow further. Supporting their global ethos with an international team, staff include 12 different nationalities, and speak over 10 languages. In 2017 alone, the team has grown over 30% as each office looks to reach the target 15 employees to maximize quality work whilst maintaining an interpersonal and intimate working environment.

In just five short years, Crowd has worked with governments, airports, household brands, restaurant chains, tourist destinations and more, all whilst providing their distinctive philosophy for ‘exporting British creativity on a global scale.’

Jamie Sergeant, Founder and Director, Crowd said, “We have always maintained a global mind set at Crowd. From our clients to our team, we live and breathe internationalization and this focus has seen us achieve so much. Unlike many agencies we have the ability to pass jobs all around the World running as ‘an agency that never sleeps’.”

With the influx of competing agencies, each with their own qualities and specialisms, Bournemouth has been heralded as the fastest growing digital economy ahead of London. ‘Silicon Beach’ as it has since been dubbed, offers far-reaching projects for a global clientele, all helping to boost the local digital sector and the reputation of Bournemouth as a creative hub.

In this highly competitive sector, it has become more and more important to differentiate from the competition; which is exactly the approach Crowd have taken with its expansion to offices around the world including Dubai, Shenzhen, San Francisco, Detroit, Toronto and London. This global reach offers clients the peace of mind that Crowd can back up what they preach with international experience.

Jamie added, “We can leverage our international team to unearth cultural talents and provide localized knowledge to our clients. We can also open the world to our clients, whether they’re big or small, we have the capability to introduce them to new territories and make them feel at home. Ultimately, we stay true to our British heritage of providing outstanding work to our ever-growing list of clients.”

Crowd, like all businesses have ambitious targets, and so far their boutique offering and friendly service have cemented Crowd’s reputation in Bournemouth and around the world. As well as working with exciting new clients and brands, Crowd have this year won four prestigious Grand Prix awards from the Recommended Agency Register awards (RAR): based on client feedback, rubber stamping what has been an exceptional year for the global digital marketing agency.
