Roy’s career is characterized by repeatedly innovating and building revolutionary solutions and companies. This began with his career in the Israeli intelligence, where he received a distinguished prize for an R&D project, and has continued through his building of AlmondNet into a recognized leader and pioneer of online behavioral and targeted advertising solutions; developing Datonics as an online data collection and distribution market leader; and his founding of Intent IQ as the first company to connect the three screens (computer/mobile/TV), in general, and deliver online-driven addressable ads within linear and time-shifted linear TV, in particular. Roy has a history of developing consumer-focused privacy friendly solutions, including the developing and evangelizing of the marking of targeted ads known today as ‘Enhanced notice,’ which as a result of Roy’s efforts led to the adoption of the solution by the NAI and the rest of the online advertising industry. Roy’s track record further includes more than 80 patents (granted and pending). Roy holds an MBA degree and an M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering, and he is an IEEE senior member.
