The Partnership Between Univision and Grabyo Covers Live Video Production, Editing, and Distribution Across News, Sports, and Entertainment Divisions
Univision Digital and Grabyo announced a partnership to power all of the broadcaster’s live and near-live social and digital video content. Grabyo’s cloud-based video-editing and live production platform will enable Univision to better connect millions of fans with broadcast-quality content across the web and mobile devices.
At a time when social networks are the go-to medium for breaking news, Univision understands that it must deliver the most important stories and highlights to consumers accurately, efficiently and in high fidelity. Grabyo’s Studio and Producer products will be employed across all of Univision’s digital teams – News, Sports, and Entertainment – to create and distribute the most relevant video content quickly and efficiently, without having to engage the broadcast studio teams and equipment. “Univision is pleased to partner with Grabyo to expand our social and digital video content offering. Through this partnership, Univision continues to drive innovation in digital broadcasting and meet the demands of our audience. Live video is an important part of our strategy across all multi-platforms, especially for breaking news,” said Juan Convers, Vice President, Business Development at Univision.
