The Comedy Brand’s Native Applications Are Currently Available on iOS, Android, and Roku
FailArmy, a globally recognized comedy brand with more than 30 million followers across social media platforms, has announced the launch of brand new dedicated FailArmy apps for mobile and connected devices. Available now on iOS, Android, and Roku devices, FailArmy applications provide users with access to its extensive library of hilarious content that has racked up more than 20 billion lifetime video views on the web. This launch is powered by ViewLift, an industry leading digital distribution and monetization platform. FailArmy plans to expand onto a variety of OTT devices, with upcoming launches on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.
With a massive and engaged fan base across social media and various web video platforms, the FailArmy brand looks to expand further by launching a variety of native applications. FailArmy’s premium programming includes hosted shows, formatted series, original vignettes, and, of course, the brand’s immensely popular “Fails of the Week” compilation series. Owned by Jukin Media, the brand aims to grow and distribute its content on a variety of different devices to even further broaden its audience reach.
“As FailArmy continues to grow in popularity, fans expect to be able to find their favorite FailArmy content on any device, which is why we partnered with ViewLift,” said Josh Kreitzman, SVP, Programming and Publishing at FailArmy parent Jukin Media.
“FailArmy demonstrates why Jukin Media has become one of the most successful media properties on social platforms,” noted Manik Bambha, the Chief Digital Officer of ViewLift. “We are looking forward to powering the next phase of their growth, bringing FailArmy’s hilarious videos directly to their current fans, and attracting new ones. Branded, direct-to-consumer applications optimized for each device delivers better viewer experiences.”
