New key hire, an award recognition, and a new headquarters launch follows recent investment in Remesh
Ohio-based Remesh, an AI-powered innovative research technology provider, has expanded its footprint with the opening of new headquarters in the Flatiron District, New York. This announcement comes after a $2.25 million funding round led by LionBird Ventures in April 2017, that brought the total investment to $3.85 million.
The company has appointed Gabe McElwaine as Director of Sales who will focus on the eastern half of the US and Canada. In his new role, McElwaine will focus on aggressive sales goals for the second half of 2017, working closely with Executive Vice President- Sales at Remesh, Matt Gershner.
Andrew Konya, CEO and co-founder of Remesh, said, “With the recent investment, we are preparing ourselves for the planned expansion of our team in our new headquarters, and bringing someone of Gabe’s caliber onboard who will jumpstart that effort.”
McElwaine brings more than 20 years of experience to Remesh. He has worked at major market insights consultancies including NPD as Senior Manager- Retail Business Group, and at Experian as Client Development Manager. Most recently, he was the Head of North American Business Development at ICLP.
“As we continue to see both market demand and institutional attention for Remesh’s AI-powered research platform, we will continue to invest in the growth of Remesh with more hires to come through the end of the year in product and software development, customer success and sales,” Konya continued.
Remesh is focused on reinventing market research through artificial intelligence (AI). The expanded footprint will allow for rapid growth and hiring as the company continues to capitalize on the market’s appetite for innovation in research.
In addition, Remesh has been recognized as one of the GRIT (Greenbook Research Industry Trends) Top 50 Most Innovative Marketing Research Companies. The AI company was chosen by industry peers through an online voting process. It also won the Greenbook Insight Innovation Competition in 2016.
