Penske Media Appoints New Vice President Of Revenue Operations

In His New Role, Levine Will Oversee Digital Revenue Strategy and Development for All Direct and Programmatic Sales, E-Commerce, Subscriptions, and Audience Data

Penske Media Corporation (PMC) announced the promotion of its head of monetization Brian Levine to vice president of revenue operations, a role in which he will optimize digital revenue across PMC’s growing portfolio of iconic brands, which includes Variety, WWD, Footwear News, Deadline, Indiewire, TVLine, and Robb Report.

This appointment underscores PMC’s commitment to maximizing its growing audience by sourcing new ad products for direct sales, driving subscriber acquisition, and optimizing e-commerce sales, native advertising, video and other initiatives. In his new role, Levine will oversee digital revenue strategy and development for all direct and programmatic sales, e-commerce, subscriptions, and audience data. Levine will continue to report to PMC’s executive vice president of business development Craig Perreault.

Levine brings to his new role an expertise in display advertising, technology, and user data for all of PMC’s revenue categories. Since joining PMC in 2014, Levine has overseen all programmatic and user data initiatives across the business, producing consistent revenue growth within the programmatic category by driving the adoption of new technology partners, new ad products, and performance optimization.

Levine, who will continue to manage PMC’s growing programmatic sales team, most recently served as senior director of monetization. Prior to PMC, Levine held various digital roles at media companies such as OpenX, News Corp and Viacom. Levine works out of PMC’s Los Angeles offices.
