Bailey will oversee internal operations and drive effective collaboration with Social Media Link’s clients

Social Media Link (SML), the influencer management company, appointed Joanna Sammartino Bailey as Chief Operating Officer.

In the new role, Bailey will oversee internal operations as well as drive effective collaboration with clients, partners and employees. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in business development, account management, and strategy at digital marketing and advertising firms. Bailey will work closely with department leads to ensure operational efficiencies and interdepartmental workflows to achieve key business goals.

She was most recently Global CRO at GrowMobile, the social and mobile marketing division of Perion, a digital advertising company. Prior to GrowMobile, she served as Executive VP, Head of Account Strategy for North America at Criteo. Before that, she was Global VP, and Head of Client Services, Strategy, and Operations at Adaptly.

The other job roles in her career include serving as Executive VP and Managing Director, Moxie Interactive/Publicis. While working as an SVP, Managing Partner at Beyond Interactive/WPP, she led and created digital marketing strategies for some of the world’s largest companies, including Nestle, P&G, J&J, Amazon, Samsung and much more.

Over her career, she has had the opportunity to work with dozens of leading companies across the digital advertising industry. Social Media Link’s platform for influencer and advocacy activation is leveraged by clients, namely Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Random House, Staples, BIC, Pfizer, Merck, ConAgra, Schick, Ogilvy, GroupM, and Edelman.
