Today’s MarTech Video Interview features “Orange County 40 Under 40” awardee, Katherine Pond.

Katherine Pond is the Vice President of Business Development at VIZIO, helping lead OTT distribution partnerships, content and IP licensing, and strategic partnerships. Since joining VIZIO in 2012, she has initiated, negotiated, and closed distribution, ad tech, and licensing deals across content, technology, advertising, and data verticals. Katherine manages partnerships across the full life cycle, oversees the content acquisition, guides content curation on VIZIO’s connected TV and mobile platforms, and works with VIZIO’s content partners to help them monetize their content on the VIZIO SmartCast platform. She is passionate about mentoring women in business and is a co-founder of VIZIO’s Ascend program, a women’s network that is open to employees and the public offering mentorship, leadership, education and networking opportunities. She is a mentor at her alma mater, Concordia University Irvine, where she was named 2020 Alumna of the Year for Professional Achievement. Katherine was named to the “Orange County 40 Under 40” by the Greater Irvine Chamber in 2019.
