Waymark’s to Unveil Automated Video Ad Creation Tool at Google Demo Day

Waymark was selected for its disruptive technology

The world’s first fully automated video ad creation tool- ‘Movement’ by Waymark, an art and technology company that builds smart marketing tools will be showcased at Google Demo Day on June 8, 2017, as part of the competition with 12 others participants.

The company was chosen to represent Detroit at Google Demo Day after winning a pitch competition held in March 2017 at the Detroit Demo Day produced by Grand Circus in partnership with Google.

Damien Rocchi, the CEO, Grand Circus, said: “Waymark was hand-selected by Google because of their disruptive technology, proven traction and market growth potential.”

“Google Demo Day is the perfect opportunity for start-ups to gain national attention from the world’s leading investors and business mentors.”

‘Movement’ searches the web for business related content to create ads

The platform scours the web for relevant business images, content, and customer reviews to instantly create and launch effective ads. These ads are easily editable and users can choose from multiple machine-generated designs or build their own with custom layouts, titles, descriptions, testimonials, and text. The end product is ready in about 10 seconds.

Earlier, Waymark built a system that uses only a business phone number to produce fully personalized, machine-generated Facebook ads in a matter of seconds. This allowed business owners to be the executive producers of their own marketing campaigns. On Google Demo Day, Waymark will extend the same breakthrough technologies to the world of video ad creation.

2% of U.S. businesses have video creation skills

The excessive cost and specialized skills required for high-quality video production and editing are beyond the means of most of the small and mid-sized businesses.

“As digital advertising continue to evolve, video becomes an absolute necessity for companies competing for attention,” said Nathan Labenz, CEO of Waymark. “We estimate only 2% of U.S. businesses have the appropriate skills and budget for video production. Our new product, Movement, enables business owners and marketers to overcome these obstacles with an easy-to-use, automated service and affordable pricing.”

50+ investment firms at Google Demo Day 2017

The Waymark fully automated video ad creation tool sees good opportunity at the event since start-ups showcasing their products have raised millions from investors in attendance at Google Demo Day. Eight start-ups have been acquired since its first event edition in 2014.

More than 50 investment firms will be represented at Google Demo Day 2017. The judges include Steve Case, Chairman, Revolution and Case Foundation, Di-Ann Eisnor, Director of Growth at Waze, and Bedy Yang, Managing Partner at 500 Startups.
