At the intersection of brilliant concepts and rigorous development processes lies true technological innovation. We’ve all heard the old adage—fail fast and fail often. I take this refrain one step further, viewing the development process as iterative and one through which we can apply lessons learned from our failures to succeed with the next big idea. I’ve spent the last 12 years as a start-up founder, data scientist, and engineering director at idea incubators within large, slow-moving organizations. I believe that magic happens when you gather brilliant minds together and see what they produce. I am the guy that sets the stage, builds the teams, and opens doors. I operate at both the sky-high, big vision level and the granular, technical level. Equally at home evangelizing a technology strategy for angel investors or executives as I am rolling up my sleeves to debug a multimillion-dollar app, I drive strategy utilizing my firmly rooted, deep technical expertise.
