First Optimizely CMS (SaaS) Site in EMEA Launches for CFM International in Partnership with Candyspace

Candyspace and Optimizely collaborate to launch first CMS (SaaS) implementation in EMEA, redefining digital experiences in aerospace

Optimizely, the leading digital experience platform (DXP), announced that CFM International (CFM), one of the world’s largest commercial aircraft engine manufacturers, has launched its redesigned website on the SaaS version of Optimizely’s Content Management System (CMS). The site, delivered in partnership with digital product agency and Optimizely Gold Partner, Candyspace, marks the first commercial implementation of Optimizely CMS (SaaS) in EMEA.

The new website positions CFM at the forefront of digital transformation in the aerospace manufacturing sector by delivering faster performance, greater scalability, and an improved content management experience.

CFM selected Candyspace to replatform its website to Optimizely CMS (SaaS), overcoming the challenges of legacy technology and delivering a platform that will support the company’s future plans.

Key benefits of the new platform include:

  • Flexible, headless architecture – Powered by Optimizely’s CMS and front-end hosting from Vercel, the site achieves lightning-fast performance and enables developers to create seamless, modern experiences.
  • Marketer-first editing tools – Unlike many headless CMS solutions, Optimizely CMS (SaaS) provides an intuitive, visual editing environment. With Visual Builder and live preview, CFM’s marketing team can easily create and publish content without developer assistance—accelerating speed-to-market.
  • Scalable and secure – Optimizely Graph ensures fast omnichannel content delivery, while automatic scaling and security upgrades reduce maintenance burdens for developers.

The new CFM website now delivers responsive user experiences, real-time updates, and intuitive features such as event booking and integrated news. More than 250,000 annual visitors will benefit from richer, more engaging content across devices.

“This launch marks a major milestone—the first rollout of Optimizely’s SaaS CMS in EMEA,” said Tom Thorne, CEO, Candyspace. “We’re proud to help CFM International achieve a platform built for speed, performance, and agility.”

“Optimizely CMS was built with marketers in mind — giving them the freedom to move fast with tools like Visual Builder and AI-assisted workflows, while still delivering the scale enterprises need,” said Nazanin Ramezani, VP of Product, CMS at Optimizely. “It’s exciting to see CFM and Candyspace lead the way in Europe with a site that shows what modern digital experiences should look like.”
