The report states that unified communication and collaboration platforms are maturing as the modalities of voice, video, and messaging become mandatory.

While there was already growing demand for a centralized communications platform, the current health crisis has given enterprises a renewed sense of urgency. The reason for the UCC platform’s demand is that providers can offer multiple means of communicating—calls, voice, video meetings, and enterprise-grade messaging.
