Rivet Works Partners with BigCommerce to Automate the Use of Consumer-Generated Content Across All Digital Properties

Rivet Works’ Platform Allows Direct-To-Consumer Businesses to Easily Generate and Organize Visual Content for Immediate Use in Commerce and Digital Marketing

Rivet Works, the market leader in software that powers the direct-to-consumer revolution, announced it has been named a BigCommerce Certified Technology Partner. Through Rivet Works, any BigCommerce customer can now automatically generate and display customer-created content in any channel to deepen customer relationships and lift online sales with little or no manual effort. The Rivet Works integration is immediately available through the BigCommerce App Marketplace.

“Our business growth depends on quality and community, not cheapness of product,” explained Matts Jopson, Vice President at Mountain Crest Gardens, a joint client of Rivet Works and BigCommerce. “Having customer photos and videos tied to relevant narratives has helped us harness the passion and experience of our community to generate sales, drive effortless organic marketing, and ultimately buffer ourselves from the impact of a larger retailer entering our space.”

The Rivet Works platform makes it fast and easy to enhance online stores and social accounts with consumer-generated videos, photos, narrative stories and commentary. The platform automates the generation and collection of high-impact shopping content directly from past shoppers, then uses advanced machine learning to intelligently organize this content for the appropriate product and category within the store. Direct-to-consumer businesses report conversion gains up to 200% for pages containing Rivet Works-powered content.

Rivet Works automatically formats this content for posting into social accounts and ad units, saving merchants and their agencies hours each week while accelerating engagement and sales. On average, Rivet Works customers realize 155% greater social reach and 104% greater reactions, shares, and comments for Rivet Works-powered Facebook posts when compared to a retailer’s typical post.

“Our partnership with Rivet Works further illustrates our commitment to providing merchants access to the highest-caliber technologies and service providers available in the industry,” said Russell Klein, chief development officer for BigCommerce. “Rivet Works shares our desire to help merchants sell more and grow faster to maximize success, and we look forward to working together to mutually support customers.”
