Uiflow Secures $5.2 Million in Seed Round to Accelerate Use of No-Code Platform for Enterprises

Fresh funding led by Addition with participation from YC Continuity, founders of Unity Technology and Twilio, and others

Uiflow, the no-code platform for development teams to build both the user interface and logic of web apps visually, announced today that it has raised $5.2 million in seed funding. The round was led by Addition, with participation from YC Continuity, David Helgason, founder of Unity Technology and Jeff Lawson, founder of Twilio, as well as existing investors TI Platform and Kevin Mahaffey, the founder of SNR, amongst others. In less than one year since Uiflow’s inception, the company has raised $6 million and acquired multiple enterprise customers, including a leading global professional-services firm and more than 3,200 additional beta customer signups.

Uiflow provides a collaborative, no-code platform for developers and enterprise customers, allowing them to build secure, scalable and custom applications rapidly inside their existing apps. Uiflow integrates with the existing backend of businesses as well as with libraries and services of choice. The company created its platform with enterprise customers in mind, who are increasingly unable to keep up with software demand amid the COVID-19 pandemic and require a platform that alleviates time constraints and skill shortages.

“At Uiflow, we are building a next-generation development platform that enables seamless collaboration between designers, developers and product managers to build production applications at the speed of thought,” said Sol Eun, CEO and Co-founder of Uiflow. “Today’s enterprise needs a robust platform to expedite the application-building process by using existing UI libraries and integrations, which saves both time and money in getting apps up and running. We are thrilled to partner with Addition and our new and existing investors who understand the pain of existing enterprise app development to address today’s challenges.”

The investment will support the company’s growth strategy of building and serving its already strong customer base, through additional product development and team expansion. With the new capital, Uiflow plans to deepen the platform offering and launch public beta early next year.

The new funding will also accelerate Uiflow’s team expansion. Since its debut in November 2020, the Uiflow team has grown from five to 13 members, having successfully recruited talent from preeminent technology companies, such as Uber, Netflix, Webflow and more. The recent addition of the founder of GrapesJS, a popular open-source project and Webflow alternative, is one example of deepening Uiflow’s expertise that will further position Uiflow as a key player in no-code software development.

“Uiflow’s no-code app platform empowers developers and product owners for the first time to build web apps quickly without sacrificing functionality, extensibility and scalability, enabling customers to keep up with increasing software demand,” said Todd Arfman of Addition. “Uiflow’s collaborative infrastructure revolutionizes the low-code development approach, and we look forward to supporting their innovation and growth.”
