Education Is the Foundation upon Which We Build Our Future

Marketing EDGE LogoFrom the first online display ad in 1994 to the IoT of today, marketing has virtually exploded into dedicated niches that require concept, design, execution, and analysis for each of these highly specialized disciplines. How are we preparing the next generation of marketers for these incredible opportunities in our industry?

In a fast-changing world, Marketing EDGE is the only non-profit in this field with a proven track record of connecting students, academics and professionals to the resources and relationships they need to see, move and stay ahead. Our mission to Educate, Develop, Grow and Employ college students in the field of marketing sets the stage to launch the next generation of diverse and inclusive marketing leaders.

The power of Marketing EDGE is through its programs that link students and professors with marketing professionals equipped with case studies, practical application, and years of experience to impart — enlightening both the students and the professors with cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Marketing EDGE prepares market-ready students — those who are smart, focused and driven — to work in key roles throughout the marketing field by evolving our programs to include experiential learning and career preparation in response to what our corporate partners tell us they need, while creating real opportunities for young people to build careers for themselves, their families and the community.

By forging personal relationships both inside the marketing community and across related fields, over 103,000 students have participated in Marketing EDGE Programs since its inception 53 years ago.

Our impact by the numbers:

  • $576,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 229 students since 1996.
  • 33% of our students in our key programs are FirstGen: 60+% are female.
  • We have partnerships with 275 colleges and universities across the United States.

As a 501 c 3 non-profit organization, Marketing EDGE is only able to provide its programs through the generous support of its corporate partners, donors and its signature and only national annual fundraising event, the EDGE Awards. Taking place at the stunning Pier Sixty in New York City on June 3rd, the event provides networking opportunities among industry elite and supports Marketing EDGE’s mission.
