“More than 25% of Fortune 100 companies are Alation customers and it’s no coincidence that these organizations generating the most revenue are investing in their most important asset: data”

Icon Ventures invested in Alation in June 2017 in conjunction with the company’s $23 million Series B funding round. Rathi joins existing independent board members, and members from Costanoa Ventures, Riverwood Capital, and Sapphire Ventures.

“We are grateful to Michael for his four years of service to Alation and wish him the best in his move to Europe. As we scale to the next level, we are excited to welcome Preeti to the board,” said Satyen Sangani, CEO and co-founder of Alation. “Her extensive experience with enterprise infrastructure, combined with her interest and background in machine learning and artificial intelligence-enabled applications, make her an amazing partner to help guide our growth.”
