Schibsted is the easiest way to reach the Norwegian people. Schibsted was founded in 1839, and has since worked with news, entrepreneurship and innovation. Today they reach over 3 million people daily through some of Norway’s largest brands such as VG, FINN.no, E24, Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende and Stavanger Aftenblad.

Altogether, half of all traffic on Norwegian websites actually goes through Schibsted, which means that they are a natural part of the lives of most people who live in Norway. This helps them deliver on their social mission; namely to finance and protect Norwegian democracy through a free press. They are proud to call themselves Norway’s largest media house, and they are renowned for trustworthiness, exceptional journalism and high editorial independence.

What started in Norway has also become a large company internationally, with sites such as Blocket, Aftonbladet and SVD in Sweden, Tori in Finland and recently Ebay in Denmark.

Amedia is Norway’s largest publisher of local media. Amedia’s editorial staff is present in local communities across the country. At the same time, our sellers help to create local marketplaces by connecting local traders with customers. Together, these functions cover our social mission in all local communities where Amedia is present. In total Amedia has 90 Norwegian local newspapers and a digital national newspaper. The group has 2,100 employees and a turnover in 2020 of NOK 3.6 billion.

Amedia Salg og Marked AS has sales responsibility for all national advertising revenue as well as follow-up responsibility for local advertising revenue in the Amedia group. In total, Amedia reaches over 2.2 million Norwegians every single day. Of these, 1.75 million are digital readers and users.
