Tanium Named to 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For

With its New Suite of Attendee Management Features, Planned Becomes the #1 Alternative to Cvent

Tanium

Tanium, the industry’s only provider of converged endpoint management (XEM), today announced it has been honored by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine for the second year in a row as one of the 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For®. Tanium continues to establish itself as one of the best places for employment in the country.

To determine the 100 best companies, Great Place To Work analyzed anonymous survey responses of more than half a million employees from Great Place To Work-Certified™ companies with a U.S.-based population of at least 1,000. Companies also submitted detailed essays describing their continued efforts to offer generous and innovative support for their people, which were validated against employee survey responses.

“We’re incredibly grateful to each and every one of our team members who, by their own contributions, helped us achieve this honor alongside some of the largest names in business today,” said Tobias Julen, chief people officer at Tanium. “Without their commitment and passion to provide organizations with proven protection and peace of mind against today’s most pervasive cyber threats, Tanium would not be where it is today.”

Achieving a position on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list is highly competitive. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience, and honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for their people regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

“It’s in times like these that the best workplaces separate themselves,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In a challenging economy, many companies reduce investments in their people and scale back goals for diversity, equity, and inclusion. But these companies, the 100 best, relentlessly pursue a better work experience for every employee, and if anything, double down on the employee experience regardless of title, tenure, gender, or ethnicity. These companies know this is how you increase performance, productivity, and your innovation velocity when your firm needs it the most.”

In addition to being named to this prestigious list two years running, Tanium has also been recognized as a top employer by Great Place To Work for the past six years—a testament to the success of employee offerings such as equity incentive programs, volunteer time off policies, weekly yoga and meditation classes, as well as personal and professional development in role-specific training. Tanium also placed eighth on the 2023 Great Place To Work list in Japan and took home the top spot on the United Kingdom’s 2022 annual list.

“Fortune is pleased to have collaborated once again with Great Place To Work to recognize the 100 Best Companies to Work For,” says Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell. “We congratulate all the organizations included in this year’s ranking for creating positive work environments and value for their employees, especially during this period of economic uncertainty.”
