Magisto Brings Mass-Scale Video Creation Capabilities To Marketing Platforms, E-Commerce Sites And Marketplaces Through the Launch of a Strategic Partnership Program

Creating a New Standard for Online Marketplaces and Providing Simple, Scalable Video Creation to Millions of Small Businesses

Magisto, the leading AI-powered video creation and marketing platform, announced the launch of their Strategic Partnership Program. Aimed at enterprise marketing and e-commerce players, the program provides large-scale, automatic video creation through a tool embedded in major e-commerce sites, listing sites, marketplaces, websites and more.

“Through the Partnership Program, we’re aiming to facilitate simple, large-scale and intelligent videofication so that in a few years, when we’re booking our next travel experience, we’ll be experiencing video on sites like Expedia, and getting video tours of real estate on Redfin.

Enabled by AI, the simple-to-integrate technology platform erases all technical barriers to ‘videofication,’ or the simple conversion of static content and web-pages into high-quality, engaging videos in a scalable, customizable and repeatable way.

By partnering with Magisto, business platforms are committing to a new standard of marketing offerings and experiences for their customers, while also attracting the loyalty of the entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, small business owners and sellers who now expect more from these sites than just commerce.

“The user experience in e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and websites is transitioning to lead with video content — because that’s what a new generation of consumers, buyers and sellers have learned to expect (on social media) from marketing communication worthy of getting attention,” said Oren Boiman, CEO of Magisto. “With the Strategic Partnership program, the Magisto platform enables partners to provide large-scale videofication on their platform, within a few weeks of integration. We’re very pleased with the number and the quality of the videos that have already been generated by our partners and with the very impressive levels of engagement they’re generating with them.”

The new program was partly informed by Magisto’s own research, which found that 72 percent of marketers said they would be more likely to use an e-commerce platform to sell their products if it offered better marketing tools, such as video and content creation.

Among the first partners in the program is the popular website creation platform, Wix. By partnering with Magisto, Wix is providing a means to enter the video marketing ecosystem to hundreds of millions of small businesses.

Through the partnership, Magisto’s AI technology can be implemented to fit a broad variety of use cases — which the program’s early partners are already demonstrating. One platform is utilizing the program to automatically create video ads for their SMB customers. Another, JamesAllen.com, one of the fastest growing online retailers of engagement rings and loose diamonds, allows ring purchasers to share their story by creating their own engagement videos directly from the site.

To create a cohesive video, Magisto’s AI takes existing content and, if needed, incorporates more from millions of high definition stock images, video clips, and licensed music. Then, if desired, users have the ability to go in and edit the video to their satisfaction, with simple and intuitive drag-and-drop technology. The fully customizable templates produce unique, high-quality, shareable videos in a matter of minutes.

“We’re excited to see the early and diverse use cases of the platform,” said Uli Gal Oz, Magisto’s VP of Business Development. “Through the Partnership Program, we’re aiming to facilitate simple, large-scale and intelligent videofication so that in a few years, when we’re booking our next travel experience, we’ll be experiencing video on sites like Expedia, and getting video tours of real estate on Redfin.”

The new Strategic Partnership program is based on a highly scalable and powerful API. Partners are able to start testing videos based on metadata, brand assets and stock footage within days of integration, with the ability to reach a full-scale solution in weeks. The business models offered through the program allow partners to start small and efficiently scale up as demand grows.

The appeal of video solutions has been largely fueled by e-commerce’s abrupt shift towards the mobile platform. On tech screens, brands have very little real estate and even less time to get their messages through to customers. To fit the preferences of modern audiences, distinguish themselves from others, and capture attention, sellers on these platforms are turning to video content.
