Noble Introduces SDK to Help Venues Integrate Digital Concessions Commerce Into Their Branded Apps and Websites

Mohegan Sun First to Use New Functionality to Enhance Guest Experiences at Live Events

Noble, the consumer-centric digital commerce and marketing platform for onsite experiences, announced  that it has launched a new SDK (software development kit) to help venues embed the Noble mobile concessions ordering platform into their branded platforms. The SDK allows venues like Mohegan Sun to maintain their own app and at the same time leverage Noble’s digital concessions commerce technology, expertise and network.

Built for high-volume live event locations like concert halls, festivals, stadiums and theaters, the Noble omni-channel platform can be used across apps, web, text, QR code and messaging. Its cashless online ordering platform allows for contact-free ordering of food, drinks and even merchandise all from a smartphone.

“We began using the Noble platform on its own prior to the pandemic, and we’re really excited for its expanded use across all Mohegan Sun Arena sporting events and concerts”

Venues simply integrate the Noble plug-and-play SDK into their existing channel to provide guests with white-label digital concessions ordering and power the branding momentum they have established with their own app. Guests benefit as well as they have multiple options to place orders and can use a familiar and trusted experience that they have used at other locations.

“We are pleased to offer venues the ability to integrate our SDK for mobile food and drink ordering into their existing user experience application,” said Drew Pomerleu, co-founder and CTO, Noble. “It’s quick for developers to add and requires zero maintenance from the venue, along with the ability to match any interface and manage continuous updates. This new functionality demonstrates the maturity of the Noble platform and allows venues to maintain the balance of brand importance with consumers familiar with Noble’s digital concessions commerce to increase sales.”

Mohegan Sun, one of the world’s leading integrated entertainment resort destinations, is the first venue to incorporate the Noble SDK into their own application. Mohegan Sun Arena, which is an award-winning 10,000-person venue, hosts a variety of concerts and sporting events throughout the year and it previously only used Noble as a standalone app to handle orders. The new implementation of the SDK now allows for more efficient handling of higher volume food and drink ordering that is expected to continue increasing at Mohegan Sun Arena events. Integrating the SDK also enhances the Mohegan Sun app for all offerings and preserves the traction their branded application has with their highly loyal customer-base.

“We began using the Noble platform on its own prior to the pandemic, and we’re really excited for its expanded use across all Mohegan Sun Arena sporting events and concerts,” said Jeff Hamilton, President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun. “We are very pleased with the service it provides our guests. When we decided to add mobile concessions ordering to our app, we considered building our own platform or using a POS, but with this new functionality and its ease of use, along with the Noble network base of users, it was clear we could have the best of both worlds to enhance our guest’s experience.”

More than an online shopping cart for food and drink, Noble provides venues and partners a robust suite of tools to manage mobile ordering operations on the ground like dynamic volume control, risk management, and best-in-class consulting support as well.
