“The development initiative with AWS is in line with Mitel’s overall growth strategy of enabling communications and collaboration capabilities, in this case cloud-based video capabilities, to be embedded into a host of new applications and workflows that customers can use to digitally transform their businesses, without a technology rip and replace,” said Rich Costello, Senior Research Analyst, IDC.

“Effective collaboration is more essential than ever given the increasingly global and dispersed nature of our working relationships. Piecemeal solutions fall short of enabling customers to work seamlessly across devices and applications,” said Mary McDowell, President and CEO, Mitel. “Together with AWS, Mitel is combining all the elements businesses need for a seamless collaboration experience. In working with an industry leader like AWS, we’re able to bring their resources and scale to bear in advancing our vision for helping businesses work smarter.”
