VidOps Launches Virtual Content Creation Platform to Support Gig Economy

Since lockdown, the team has seen a 66% increase in animation projects

London based start-up VidOps launches its global digital content creation platform, as a new efficient way for organisations to manage and create their visual media in one place.

Through the platform, customers can connect and collaborate with global creatives on projects in real-time, resulting in high quality content. Over half (52%) of projects since the beginning of COVID-19 have been delivered in 24-48hours.

Remotely-produced videos are an increasingly popular way for businesses to easily produce content, and it’s particularly important amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with staff working from home and access to studios and video production crews is now challenging. VidOps provides a collaborative platform that disrupts the traditional video production model by offering a complete end-to-end service from inception to delivery.

Al Brenninkmeijer, Co-founder and CEO of VidOps commented:

“Working in traditional video production I witnessed an opportunity to support customers in a way that would suit the growing demands of content creation. Equally, as a creative myself I understand the burden of having to manage multiple customers whilst trying to secure the next job. We’re launching VidOps now because it enables complete virtual content collaboration, meaning we’re in a unique position to help content managers and creatives that are having to work remotely.”

The platform connects marketers and campaign managers with creatives from around the world to collaborate on projects. Managed via private dashboards and workspaces, team members can interact in real-time. Throughout, the dedicated assigned producer supports clients from booking the right service to managing the logistics and providing creative advice.

As demand for digital content continues to grow with video remaining a key priority for marketers, the most critical issue today is speed, at which companies need to meet the growing demand for quality content, at a time when many marketing teams are working remotely. Since the beginning of lockdown, VidOps has seen a 66% increase in demand for animation projects since before the start of the coronavirus lockdown, as a result of people not being able to shoot face to face.

Mia Allen, Co-Founder & Product Lead of VidOps added:

“Unlike other online marketplaces, VidOps is a complete sourcing, collaboration and project management tool, harnessing the power of the gig economy. What’s really exciting is that we can have a customer based in the US, filming in Ibiza, with the support of our VidOps Producer in London and content edited and uploaded from an editor based in Manchester back to our customer in the US, all turned around within 48 hours.”

VidOps is already used by some of the UK’s most exciting startups, including Paymentsense, Apex and Harri, alongside larger businesses including HSBC, Mitchells & Butlers and Holiday Inn.

Hugo Sousa, Head of Channel Marketing at Paymentsense stated:

“The VidOps team are some of the best in class video producers I’ve come across in my career. Proactive, trustworthy, responsive, accountable – they always go the extra mile.”

The VidOps platform is free to sign up for any creative or customer. It is easy to control every aspect of the production process and a VidOps Producer will manage the whole project, interacting in real-time through the collaborative “Workspace”.
