Hi Krista. Please tell us about your current role and the team/ technology you handle at SAP Litmos. 

I am the COO of SAP Litmos and have been with the team for nearly 2 years.

I lead a team of senior experts who work to ensure SAP Litmos’s continuing success on the marketplace through a thoughtful GTM strategy. We build appealing products and service offerings and ensure the right market strategy and market positioning. We also ensure break-through messaging and content, enable the global organization and partners to sell and market solutions, and engage with analysts and customers in captivating ways.

What inspired you to release SAP Litmos Training on SAP Store?

Traditionally we’ve sold our solution primarily through sales reps, but with the onset of the pandemic, customers are increasingly looking for a digital alternative for their purchases. We offer a great trial experience to all of our prospects. Through the SAP Store we are making it possible for prospects and customers to experience a fast and simplified purchase of the solution in order to get them up and running as quickly as possible.

Could you tell our audience about some of SAP Litmos’ unique offerings? 

SAP Litmos is an online training platform that enables smarter, faster eLearning. The solution is comprised of a powerful learning management system (LMS), SAP Litmos Training, and a content-rich training course catalog, SAP Litmos Training Content. It’s the ideal combination to improve all training programs by automating tasks from course creation to assignment to tracking and reporting and beyond. SAP Litmos comes with a robust library of more than 300 off-the-shelf courses. Customers can build their training programs with a choice of more than 1,200 courses by purchasing an additional content package.

What does your Ideal customer look like? Which markets and titles does SAP Litmos serve?

SAP Litmos can serve all training needs of customers across industries. Our customer base ranges from small and mid-sized companies to large enterprises. Our customer experience edition is a perfect fit for organizations that are looking to train their sales, service, and partner organizations. By adding SAP Litmos Training Content enterprise edition, organizations get access to additional 1500+ courses that will cover the needs of HR departments and more to kick start training.

How did the COVID-19 force you to evolve SAP Litmos Training model?

As the pandemic started to spread, SAP decided to offer free of cost access to certain aspects of our Litmos training courses to anyone – with no strings attached. These courses are meant to support people and organizations in managing their work and life in a remote work environment, as well as when returning to the office. Additionally, we decided to offer our prospects a deeper introduction, giving them the ability to try out our solution for 3 months instead of the typical 2 weeks. During this time, customers can set up their team, and training programs, as well as utilize the rich content library for free.

Tell us more about the remote readiness and productivity academy. Who can enroll in this program?

The program provides learning paths for leaders to help them manage toward a formerly unseen future as well as help employees succeed. The program includes courses to cultivate positive mindsets and well-being. The remote readiness and productivity academy program is available for anyone who wishes to enroll, no strings attached.

In the age of AI and automation tools, how do you see different departments in the organization consolidating their productivity with training, learning and development?
