Adobe Named Leader in Forrester Wave + Gartner Magic Quadrant

Adobe Received Highest Score Possible in Personalization, Product Vision and Roadmap, and Delivery and Extensibility Ecosystem Criteria

Adobe today announced that it has been positioned as a Leader in two recent eCommerce reports from Forrester Research Inc. — “The Forrester Wave™: B2C Commerce Suites, Q2 2020” and “The Forrester Wave™: B2B Commerce Suites, Q2 2020.” Adobe was one of 13 vendors in the B2B Wave and 10 vendors in the B2C Wave that were evaluated on their Strategy, Current Offering and Market Presence.

“With B2B and B2C brands accelerating their move to digital as the primary way to connect with their customers, commerce has taken a defining role in Customer Experience Management (CXM),” said Jason Woosley, vice president, Commerce Product and Platform, Adobe. “We believe that being named a Leader in the B2B and B2C Wave evaluations demonstrates that we’re making the right investments to extend Magento’s capabilities to empower both commercial and enterprise brands to deliver compelling, shoppable experiences at scale.”

“Magento Commerce allows us to serve our commercial brewing customers and distributor partners through a secure online portal, increasing the efficiency and accessibility of our business,” said Jordan Gottlieb, director of software engineering, Yakima Chief Hops. “While our main focus was to create a shop for our commercial and wholesale partners to streamline self-service ordering and contract management, we were also able to launch a direct-to-consumer website, serving nano- and homebrewers on the same platform.”

According to both Forrester reports: “Adobe is best for brand-centric companies with rapidly evolving business models that differentiate on experience.” Both evaluations state that Magento Commerce has an “above-par, large, loyal and highly capable delivery ecosystem,” comprised of agencies and solution integrators, that work in lockstep with the company to accelerate its development velocity. The platform received the highest possible score in the criteria of Personalization and Product Vision & Roadmap. Both reports also reference PWA Studio, stating that it is “positioned to lower the cost and complexity of adopting Progressive Web App experiences.” The B2C Wave noted that Magento Commerce is “above par in harder-to-find functionality like subscription billing and is strong in fundamentals like order management.” The report goes on to say: “Adobe is actively marrying its renowned creativity tools with Magento Commerce, which creates a unique benefit to digital business users.” The B2B Wave states that Adobe delivers “above-par functionality in mobile and A/B and multivariate testing.”
