Copper Chooses the UK in Next Step of International Expansion

Copper, the Alpha CRM for Google, Announces Its Arrival to the UK to Meet Rising Consumer Demand

It’s an era of running businesses through relationship management, states Copper’s website. Its decision and innovation to build a CRM around Google’s business products has clicked with customers and investors alike. Copper, as we speak, has 12,000 businesses as clients in over 100 countries and it has raised $87 million in funding so far. Also, Copper’s CRM business has seen an 80 percent revenue growth year-over-year in the UK. This is commendable considering it was founded just 5 years ago, circa 2013.

Hence, it makes a lot of strategical sense that Copper establish an office in the United Kingdom. The announcement can help Copper better cater to its clientele in Europe along with creating several career and collaboration opportunities across this region. As a robust step to strengthen its presence, Copper is joining forces with many premier Google partners. These partners are:

“Customer relationships are changing and CRM has quickly become a tool servicing more than just sales teams,” said Jon Aniano, Chief Product Officer at Copper. “We’re thrilled to continue building on our already strong customer base in the UK and focus on creating a product that allows people to effectively manage relationships without the headache of manually updating and inputting information.”

“Our expansion into Europe is another proof point that companies need a better tool for capturing customer relationships without the burdensome process of data management,” said Morgan Norman, Chief Marketing Officer at Copper. “We’re changing CRM altogether though our deep integrations and partnership with Google. Through our Chrome extension, users can tap into important customer data within their Gmail, Google Docs, Hangouts and more, making customer organization easier than ever.”

Gartner reports that 2017 saw CRM become the largest software market globally with whopping revenues of $39.5 billion — it will also be the fastest growing market in 2018. However, today’s CRM technology is not at par with consumer demands, worldwide. Copper’s recent survey concluded two important aspects that are:

  1. 56% confirm that they have used at least 3 CRM in their professional lives.
  2. 80% confirm that they still enter information manually.

Copper’s vision is simple but effective. The company wants to develop a functional CRM that syncs in beautifully with G-Suite — what most people are already on!
