OneCause Awards Technology Grants to Three Rising Nonprofits

Recognized by CRN for Expertise in Cloud Native Application Platform Protection and Extended Detection & Response

McAfee Enterprise and FireEye announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named McAfee Enterprise as a finalist for the 2021 CRN Tech Innovator Awards. McAfee Enterprise is being recognized for its MVISION Cloud Native Application Platform Protection (CNAPP) and MVISION Extended Detection & Response (XDR) in the cloud and endpoint security categories. This follows other award wins for McAfee Enterprise in the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards, Stratus Awards and Expert Insights “Best of” Fall Awards.

This annual award program showcases innovative vendors in the IT channel across 47 different technology categories, in key areas ranging from cloud to storage to networking to security. To determine the winners, a panel of CRN editors reviewed hundreds of vendor products using multiple criteria, including key capabilities, uniqueness, technological ingenuity and ability to address customer and partner needs.

“CRN’s annual Tech Innovator Awards acknowledge technology vendors that display their ongoing commitment to empowering and enabling end users, while also promoting continuous business growth for solution providers, with cutting-edge, purpose-built products and services”

Organizations of all sizes need a simplified architecture; one that enables them to leapfrog the cost and complexity of the patchwork quilt of point products, and benefit from the ecosystem of cloud-delivered protection products without major investments in tools or developer talent. McAfee Enterprise’s MVISION XDR and MVISION CNAPP solutions deliver visibility and control of multicloud and hybrid environments to better protect organizations.

  • MVISION XDR delivers the industry’s-first proactive intelligence and automated investigations, with guided and prescriptive actionable countermeasures to minimize risk before and after cyber-attacks. This ultimately brings enhanced data-aware visibility and control to security practitioners by simplifying and orchestrating detection and response across the entire security infrastructure (endpoint, cloud, network) including third-party products and solutions. This unification is essential to channel partners and to the SOC’s ability to prioritize and protect what matters.
  • MVISION CNAPP is a new security service designed to secure cloud native applications across multicloud environments. It provides broad compliance and governance of cloud services and infrastructure along with deep proactive protection of container and OS-based cloud workloads from development through runtime. With the 50 percent increase in cloud usage since early 2020 alone, channel partners must meet the enterprise need for a simplified security architecture with reduced cost and complexity to compete and grow their businesses. With CNAPP, our partners have a first-of-its-kind technology to meet these needs and drive revenue growth.

“CRN’s annual Tech Innovator Awards acknowledge technology vendors that display their ongoing commitment to empowering and enabling end users, while also promoting continuous business growth for solution providers, with cutting-edge, purpose-built products and services,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “I’d like to personally congratulate each and every one of this year’s CRN Tech Innovator Award winners. We are proud to recognize these best-in-class vendors that are driving transformation and innovation in the IT space.”

“Cloud-delivered application and endpoint protection are critical to protecting enterprises, commercial businesses and the public sector globally,” said Adam Philpott, President of Global Sales, McAfee Enterprise. “Our partners are key to our strategy as a channel-first business, and to making it possible for us to continue to deliver the best security products for our end users.”
