Key new features in VQmon 5.2 include:

  • Analysis of T.140 real-time text flows over RTP (text over IP). Real-time text has a wide variety of applications including communications for the hearing or speech impaired and text conversations in conjunction with multimedia conferencing. VQmon automatically detects T.140 text streams, analyzes them in real time, and produces per-stream intelligibility scores in addition to other relevant metrics.
  • Improved handling of videoconferencing sessions using SVC (Scalable Video Coding) video codecs, and the addition of support for the new H.266 and AV1 video codecs.
  • Analysis of voice/video streams that use STUN/TURN for firewall traversal, providing support for an expanding range of popular WebRTC applications.
  • Additional support for speech codecs, including Speex variable bit rate mode and EVRC interleaved/ bundled header format.

Since its introduction in 2001, Telchemy’s VQmon has continuously evolved alongside mobile, communications and entertainment industry standards to provide comprehensive data analytics for voice, video, audio and data services. Today’s increased dependence on VoIP and videoconferencing for remote work and distributed call centers makes VQmon’s analytics essential to enterprises and service providers alike. Reporting accurate diagnostics, performance metrics and KPIs including QoE, MOS and R-factor scores, VQmon is the most widely accepted analytics library for real-time application performance analysis.
