Lucidworks Site Search Cloud App Goes International With Multiple Language Support

New Site Search Features Make Powerful AI/ML Accessible to the Global Enterprise

Lucidworks, the leader in intelligent search and discovery, announces new features for their embeddable, easy-to-configure, out-of-the-box site search solution that runs anywhere, Lucidworks Site Search. Now with multiple language support tailorable to deployment regions, international teams using Site Search can deliver actionable intelligence faster than ever before.

Site Search, an enterprise-grade application, now supports multiple European languages including French, Italian, German, Polish, Russian, and Spanish for both indexing and searching with auto-detect during web crawls. Language support has also been extended to the search UI, which is localized to support a global audience.

Additional support for international customers is included with the ability to specify the region where you’d like to deploy Site Search. This lowers latency and provides a more responsive, faster search experience to customers and site visitors.

“Bringing our Site Search app to a wider user base has been a major jump forward that the whole team has been looking forward to,” said Will Hayes, Lucidworks CEO. “We are thrilled to finally be able to roll this out so organizations have an enterprise-ready site search solution they can deploy in minutes.”

In addition to these features, the new upgrades to Site Search also include full access to the search API so customers can integrate the search experience with their existing infrastructure and upload bulk documents seamlessly. Teams can choose deployment regions that correspond to AWS server locations, allowing specialized access for international teams and a better end-user-experience. A rich analytics package fills out the feature set for this new release so stakeholders and admins can see current and historical usage reports, include searches over time, average response times, rate of queries per day, and other crucial metrics.
