ThriftBooks Hires New Vice President of Sales and Marketing

The world’s largest seller of used books brings accomplished sales and marketing professional to leadership team

ThriftBooks, the world’s largest seller of used books, has hired Barbara Ann Hagen as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing. She will be responsible for the planning and execution of sales and marketing goals at Thriftbooks.

Hagen has more than 16 years of experience as a senior marketing executive. She has an undergraduate degree in marketing from Syracuse University, an MBA in international marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and an MS in data analytics, also from NYU’s Stern School. Hagen has a strong track record of success at Fortune 100 companies spanning retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and tech. She maintained key marketing positions at Best Buy, Target, and Microsoft. She most recently served as a vice president at The Mars Agency, where she led the agency’s T-Mobile business, the Samsung Global Retail and Marketing business, as well as eComm for the agency’s top clients.
