SheerID Appoints Stephanie Copeland Weber as CEO, Co-Founder Jake Weatherly Transitions to Board Director and Strategic Advisor

SheerID, the global leader in identity verification for commerce, announced that Stephanie Copeland Weber, former Chief Executive Officer of Ruby, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will join the company’s Board of Directors. Copeland Weber succeeds Jake Weatherly, SheerID’s co-founder, who has successfully and steadfastly led the company since its inception over a decade ago and will step into a new role as Board Director and Strategic Advisor.

Copeland Weber has over 25 years of experience growing businesses as a strategic and operational leader, with a successful track record of driving growth of enterprise technology sales in a variety of different organizations. Prior to SheerID, Copeland Weber spent six years at Ruby, where she quickly rose from SVP of Operations to President and COO, and ultimately to CEO after the successful sale of the business to a strategic investor. Prior to that, she was VP of Customer Success and VP of Operations at GuideSpark, an enterprise employee communications and engagement platform, and several other critical roles inside SaaS and strategic consulting organizations.
