“We are fortunate to have someone of Joe Mazzarella’s talent and capability to step into the role of president,” said Hatten. “Through many years of hard work and significant market advances made in this past year we are positioned for extraordinary growth. Our ability to maximize and build upon this foundation depends upon strong leadership. Mr. Mazzarella is an industry visionary with a proven track record. He is a strong communicator with a deep understanding of customer needs, has expansive technology expertise, and is a sharp business and financial mind. He has been instrumental in creating value for our company in any number of roles over the course of his career. As a long-standing board member, he also brings a solid understanding of the company’s history and mission.”

Mazzarella said, “I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead the next chapter of Mutualink’s success story. We enter the New Year on solid footing due to the extraordinary commitment, creativity and skill of our Mutualink team. We have the awesome responsibility of serving the best of the best – our first responders and emergency support organizations that maintain safe communities for our families, friends and neighbors. Our mission is to deliver high value innovative solutions to our first responder customers by breaking down existing communication and information sharing barriers to enhance public safety, increase situational awareness, and speed-up life-saving emergency response. Sadly, many of the problems our first responders endure were created and persist due to legacy players focused on maintaining market control and extracting profits rather than ensuring open communications systems that serve and keep our responders safe. We are on the side of our customers in the first, second and every instance. They deserve nothing less. We will relentlessly pursue interoperability and break down artificial barriers because it is the right thing to do. We will continue to operate on a simple, yet powerful principal. Serve for the good of our customer, and greater good follows.”
