“One of the benefits our customers have is direct impact to our roadmap,” says VP of Product, Justin Bougher. “My team and I spent a great deal of time in Q1 talking to current and prospective business users. Their input was critical to defining the scope and priority of features released in this first phase.”

Bougher explains, “We’ve now doubled the options a Marketer has available to make page customizations, and these can be applied just to one page or across all the areas of the site where a customized element exists. This saves a ton of time. I’m also really excited about the new color picker which automatically creates a palette of colors matching those already in use on the site. This ensures users will stay on-brand when choosing colors for new or changed elements.”

In addition to the color picker and expanded element addition features, the release included more granular hyperlinking capabilities and a new “View Changes” feature.

“The View Changes feature is something users will love, especially when many people are optimizing different areas of the site at one time,” commented Bougher. “In a single view you can see all changes in a campaign, you can mouse over any of them and the change will highlight on the page or inform you that the change is on another page. From this same view, a user can easily edit or delete any of those changes.”

Bougher adds, “The feedback to our Enhanced Visual Editor has been very positive, and improvements to user experience will only continue. Our roadmap will continue to add power and usability throughout the remainder of this year and heading into next.”
