Concord Launches Horizon AI Contract Platform

Concord announced Horizon, a conversational contract intelligence platform that enables users to query and manage agreements through natural language. Instead of navigating folders and dashboards, teams can ask questions and execute actions through conversation — accessing contract intelligence through ChatGPT, Claude, or Concord’s interface.

Horizon represents a fundamental departure from traditional contract lifecycle management platforms. The platform is built AI-first from the ground up, enables conversational interaction for both queries and actions, and integrates via Model Context Protocol (MCP) to work through existing AI tools teams already use.

Marketing Technology News: Martech Interview with Meena Ganesh, Senior Product Marketing Manager @ Box AI

In a demonstration, a CFO asked Horizon: “Show all my contracts renewing for more than $200K this quarter.” Within seconds, the platform analyzed the entire contract repository, extracted financial data from executed agreements, and generated a cited report linking each figure to its source contract — a task that typically requires days of manual spreadsheet work.

“Contract management has been trapped in the point-and-click era while the rest of business software evolves toward conversational AI,” said Matt Lhoumeau, CEO of Concord. “Horizon eliminates the gap between needing contract intelligence and getting it. Finance teams can ask about spend commitments, Legal can audit compliance clauses, and Operations can identify renewal risks — all through conversation, without CLM training.”

Marketing Technology News: Feature-Rich to Functionally Effective: Adjusting your Martech Strategy

The conversational approach addresses a persistent enterprise challenge: contract data remains locked in documents accessible only to legal teams with specialized software training. Horizon makes contract intelligence available to any stakeholder who can ask a question in plain language, from CFOs preparing board decks to procurement teams evaluating supplier relationships.

The MCP integration extends Horizon beyond its native interface. Teams can query their contract repository, surface specific terms, and generate reports directly from the AI tools they already use daily — eliminating context switching and system learning curves.

Traditional CLM platforms focus on pre-signature workflow automation and require API integrations that need technical implementation. Horizon’s AI-first architecture and conversational interface represent a categorical architectural shift designed for the AI era, where natural language becomes the primary interface for business software.

Marketing Technology News: From MarTech Stack to MarTech Fabric: Weaving Brand, Content, and Conversion Into One Thread

Unified Platform Eliminates Integration Complexity and Downtime Risk

Organizations building AI applications for mobile face a costly dilemma: cloud-only database platforms rely on the internet, creating revenue risk when connectivity fails, while mobile-only embedded databases lack a scalable backend consolidation server, requiring expensive custom integration with enterprise cloud databases. Both approaches force development teams to integrate multiple technologies to achieve end-to-end data synchronization — adding IT complexity, slowing time to market and driving up total cost of ownership.

Couchbase Mobile eliminates this complexity with a unified solution that seamlessly integrates data sync from cloud to edge to device to web. New capabilities include:

  • Couchbase Lite for JavaScript: This major new capability allows developers to embed the Couchbase Lite database to browser-based web apps to eliminate internet dependencies. Local data processing makes web apps faster, ensures they’re always available, makes them more secure and less prone to data loss, and creates a unified app experience using Capella App Services and Sync Gateway to synchronize web apps with the Capella Database-as-a-Service and other Couchbase Lite mobile applications. Learn more here.
  • Couchbase Lite Peer-to-Peer Sync advancements: This longstanding Couchbase Mobile feature now includes out-of-the-box device auto-discovery, mesh support that adjusts as users enter or leave the network, and upcoming features that enable network auto-switching capabilities for uninterrupted synchronization and Bluetooth support. The latest capabilities make it easier than ever for developers to implement P2P sync in iOS and Android applications, reducing P2P implementation code from dozens of lines to around five compared with previous versions. This powerful new set of extended P2P sync features puts Couchbase Mobile well ahead of any competing mobile data sync solutions, especially when combined with the broader capabilities offered by Couchase. Learn more here.
  • XDCR and Couchbase Mobile Multi-Cluster Resilience: A key feature of Capella App Services and Sync Gateway 4.0 is cross data center replication (XDCR) support for mobile deployments, bringing multi-region resilience for zero-downtime disaster recovery, seamless failover with active standby and the ability for mobile users to seamlessly migrate between clusters. This helps provide the highest guarantees of uptime for apps and simplifies global deployments as they grow. Learn more here.
  • Couchbase Edge Server: Launched earlier this year, Edge Server is a lightweight database server designed to power applications in internet dead zones on resource-constrained hardware. Smartcat Debuts End-to-End SCORM Translation: All Assets, One Workflow, Zero Manual Work

AI Agent eliminates separate workflows for each SCORM package asset, accelerating multilingual training for global enterprises.

Smartcat announced the launch of an AI-powered solution that automates the entire translation lifecycle for SCORM courses, the standard format for online training content used in corporate learning systems. Smartcat’s Learning Content Agent now enables learning and development (L&D) teams to translate every asset within a course—including text, images, videos, and documents—in a single, automated process. This allows global enterprises to deliver high-quality, multilingual training faster and at a greater scale than ever before.

Traditionally, translating SCORM courses has been a complex manual process, forcing L&D teams to juggle spreadsheets, vendors, and separate workflows for each asset. This approach slows the delivery of essential training, hindering global market readiness. Smartcat’s Learning Content Agent solves this challenge by unifying all translation tools and workflows into a single platform.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Miguel Lopes, CPO @ TrafficGuard

The agent is the first solution on the market to automate every step involved in SCORM translation. Its key breakthrough is the ability to translate and rebuild courses without the original project, unlocking years of legacy content that was previously impossible to update. The agent handles every course asset, from text and images to video and audio, in over 280 languages, with quality assurance available from Smartcat’s marketplace of 500,000 professional linguists.

To simplify course management, learning and development (L&D) practitioners no longer need to juggle multiple files for each language. The agent achieves this by exporting a single, multilingual SCORM package that contains all languages, ready for direct upload to any Learning Management System (LMS). Ongoing updates are also simplified; a single change in the source language is automatically synced across all translated versions.

The Learning Content Agent is part of Smartcat’s broader Agentic Platform, where specialized AI Agents automate complex enterprise workflows across learning, marketing, and content operations.

Marketing Technology News: Disrupt or Be Disrupted: The AI Wake-Up Call for B2B Marketers

“Global enterprises can no longer afford to have employee expertise siloed by language. Our Learning Content Agent addresses this directly by transforming SCORM localization from a complex operational cost into a driver of business growth,” said Falk Gottlob, Chief Product Officer at Smartcat. “By automating the entire workflow, Smartcat enables global teams to accelerate time-to-competency, ensuring every member can perform at their best, from day one.”

Smartcat’s Learning Content Agent delivers a comprehensive suite of features designed for global enterprise L&D needs:

  • Full SCORM Automation: Extract, translate, review, and rebuild all assets within a SCORM package for direct publishing into any LMS.
  • Revive Legacy Content: Localize SCORM files without original source files or authoring tool access, enabling in-context review and repackaging.
  • AI‑Powered Quality and Human Expertise: Ensure consistent, compliant translations across all languages using glossaries, translation memory, and domain‑tuned AI, enhanced by in‑context review and access to professional linguists.
  • Multilingual Packages and Effortless Updates: Export a single multilingual file for all languages and automatically sync updates across all versions.

The agent is already delivering measurable returns on speed and cost. Companies like Smith+Nephew have already leveraged the Learning Content Agent to achieve a four times faster translation turnaround time for their highly regulated medical content, shrinking the localization workflow from an agency Service Level Agreement (SLA) of ten days to just two.

Aptly named Conversation Analyst, this powerful agentic AI solution analyzes every AI and human agent conversation across voice, web chat, SMS, and other asynchronous messaging platforms, like Apple Messages for Business and WhatsApp. With Conversation Analyst, organizations can establish custom prompts and metrics that provide a nuanced understanding of experiences throughout the entire customer journey at unprecedented speed and scale. CX teams can leverage surfaced insights to improve experiences and operational efficiencies in near real-time, or the Conversation Analyst can be designed to take action on specific insights, like a policy violation, creating a direct path from analysis to improvement.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Stephen Howard-Sarin, MD of Retail Media, Americas @ Criteo

“At Spirit, Quiq’s Conversation Analyst has become a critical part of how we operate,” says Vanessa Hardy-Bowen, Director of Guest Care and Contact Centers for Spirit Airlines. “It gives the team and I real-time visibility into how both our human and AI agents handle conversations, not just checking boxes on compliance, but truly identifying issues with care and empathy. What I appreciate most is how quickly it confirms real resolution and flags conversations tied to sensitive areas like consumer rights or accessibility, so we can take action before anything escalates. It’s helped us operate smarter and more proactively, and ultimately raise the standard of what great guest care should feel like.”

Conversation Analyst redefines how CX leaders measure success. Traditionally, qualitative metrics like CSAT or NPS have been self-reported, leading to incomplete, and sometimes biased datasets. With Conversation Analyst, these and other key performance indicators are now AI-generated for every interaction, supplementing or augmenting customer feedback surveys with unbiased accuracy. Insights can be viewed individually, in aggregate by agent and team, or narrowed into manageable subsets for deeper analysis in seconds, enabling leaders to understand the why behind them.

Marketing Technology News: From MarTech Stack to MarTech Fabric: Weaving Brand, Content, and Conversion Into One Thread

“CX leaders have been held back by incomplete analytics and forced to guess what truly matters,” said Mike Myer, Founder and CEO of Quiq. “The Conversation Analyst lets them ‘hear’ every voice completely. This isn’t just data. It’s agentic AI that digs deep to uncover subtle but profound insights, and then turns that understanding into immediate, impactful actions that improve operations and customer experiences at every touchpoint.”

By ensuring no customer voice goes unheard and no critical insight remains undiscovered, Conversation Analyst equips organizations to proactively address pain points, personalize experiences, and continuously improve service delivery. The result is not just enhanced customer satisfaction, but also significant operational efficiencies and a stronger competitive advantage.

MikMak Announces New MCP-Powered and AI-Driven Innovations to Help Global Brands Drive More Profitable Growth

Conversational insights, agentic commerce, and new creative formats reinforce MikMak’s position as the world’s most advanced commerce enablement and analytics solution

MikMak, the leading global eCommerce enablement and analytics platform, announced a major evolution with the upcoming release of new MCP-powered and AI-driven enhancements to MikMak 3.0, including the debut of conversational insights. Together, these innovations represent a significant step forward in MikMak’s ability to serve as the single source of truth for how people and intelligent systems shop across channels, helping brands convert both human-driven and agent-driven demand in real-time.

Brand manufacturers now face two critical stakeholders in commerce: humans and AI agents. As consumers continue to navigate a complex, multi-channel purchase journey and AI agents increasingly influence those decisions, brands need a single platform that enables, measures, and optimizes both.

“most successful brands are the ones turning data into action at the speed of their consumers,” said Rachel Tipograph, Founder and CEO of MikMak. “With these advancements, MikMak is better positioned than anyone else in the market to transform invaluable commerce data into instant intelligence, helping brands understand performance in seconds and connect those insights directly to sales outcomes. This is the next chapter of profitable growth for global commerce, and there’s a lot more to come soon.”

Unlock the Future of Intelligent Agentic Commerce with MCP Capabilities

MikMak’s MCP (Model Context Protocol) capabilities give brands a direct path to agentic commerce, where AI doesn’t just analyze data but acts on it with precision, speed, and accountability. With MCP, commerce systems and AI agents can communicate using a shared standard, creating a unified framework for intelligent, real-time decision-making. MikMak amplifies this capability through its enterprise-grade Commerce and Insights APIs, which power global brands with unmatched data on shopper behavior, pricing, product availability, and performance across over 8,000 retailers.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Julian Highley, EVP, Global Data Science & Product @ MarketCast

MikMak’s MCP capabilities transform this proven foundation into an AI-ready infrastructure that enables safe experimentation, faster optimization, and measurable business outcomes. Built with modularity and privacy by design, the platform enables brands to innovate confidently while maintaining full control over their data and decision-making frameworks. The result is accelerated execution, stronger attribution, and a new era of intelligent commerce where every AI-powered interaction drives real, profitable growth.

Transform Data into Instant Intelligence with Conversational Insights

brands have more data than ever, but less clarity on what truly drives growth. MikMak closes that gap by transforming static dashboards into dynamic, conversational insights. Built on MikMak’s enterprise-grade infrastructure and powered by more than 11 years of commerce data, MikMak’s conversational insights advancements redefine how brands engage with performance analytics.

Instead of navigating fragmented reports or static scorecards, marketers will be able to ask questions in natural language, such as “What’s driving growth?” or “Where should we invest next quarter?” and receive clear, contextual answers in seconds. The platform pairs visual analytics with narrative intelligence, automatically generating summaries, recommendations, and insights that connect performance to action.

With the upcoming launch of MikMak’s conversational insights, every marketer will be able to analyze performance in real-time, reduce time-to-insight, and make faster, more confident decisions that drive measurable growth.

Appian Launches New AI Capabilities To Automate Complex Work & Accelerate App Modernisation

Appian Launches New AI Capabilities To Automate Complex Work & Accelerate App Modernisation

Proven in successful customer trials, new platform capabilities embed powerful agents into processes and empower business users to modernise legacy apps with ease.

Appian, a leader in AI-powered process automation, announced platform enhancements that embed powerful AI agents directly into enterprise processes. The latest Appian Platform release delivers practical, measurable value by making AI more than just an assistant.

Agents directly embedded in business processes
Agent Studio allows organisations to deploy Appian’s most powerful AI agents yet at scale. These agents can reason, handle unexpected conditions, and act on enterprise data to automate complex work. Appian agents are powerful because they inherit critical platform properties like complete data access, process context and guardrails. With Agent Studio, business users can use natural language to define high-level goals. Then, AI agents use Appian’s data fabric and tools to determine the most effective path forward. With a complete view of enterprise data, agents make smarter decisions, interpret unstructured data from varied sources, and make real-time adjustments. Appian agents are embedded into process, enabling easy governance and auditability of agent behaviour.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Haley Trost, Group Product Marketing Manager @ Braze

Agent Studio is now generally available. Following its preview at Appian World in April 2025, customer interest was overwhelming. Early users validated Agent Studio’s enterprise readiness and ease of use in a market challenged with failed agent projects. One hundred percent of beta programme participants found Agent Studio ‘intuitive or very intuitive.’

“Appian continues to be more than a technology partner; it’s an innovation ally. Agent Studio demonstrates how AI and low-code can combine to extend human capacity in ways that matter most: reaching families faster, reducing administrative friction, and enabling clinicians to focus on what they do best—care,” said Ryan Cox, Co-founder and VP, Acclaim Autism. “Agent Studio bridges the gap between business users and software engineers. By uploading our existing processes into the agent’s knowledge set, we quickly achieved reliable clinician-patient matches—a powerful result from a simple setup.”

AI-powered application modernisation: from idea to app in minutes
Appian Composer is now generally available, and more than 130 organisations have already built over 1,300 applications using the tool. Composer transforms how organisations modernise applications, allowing users with any level of development expertise to turn ideas into working applications fast with an AI-guided experience. Composer builds an interactive plan for the user stories, data, processes and user experiences for the application. Composer gives business, IT, and AI a collaborative workspace to work together to plan and design the application. Then, with a click of a button, you can generate your application ready to be further tailored to business needs.

Marketing Technology News: Cross-Department Collaboration with Marketing Workflow Automation: Enhancing Alignment Between Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing Teams

Data Fabric enhancements
Appian’s industry-leading data fabric can now handle up to 50 million rows with 5x faster write throughput. Data Fabric supports enhanced information security compliance via transparent data encryption.

“Many organisations deployed ineffective and expensive, stand-alone AI chatbots in their back-office operations teams,” said Michael Beckley, CTO, Appian. “Research from MIT shows that approach fails 95% of the time because AI on its own is easily confused by different data contexts. Appian takes a fundamentally different path. We embed specialised AI Agents directly inside operations workflows where they deliver reliable results at massive scale, enabling real-world outcomes, like accurately processing tens of millions insurance quotes per year for one customer.”
