New Worldwide Streaming Platform, Qchamberstream, Named Number One Platform in China

Premier Classical Streaming Service Delivers Film Quality Live Performances to Homes Across the Globe

Dorn Music and Bernhard Fleischer Moving Images have teamed up to create a new streaming platform, QChamberstream, which brings the highest quality, cutting edge soloists and chamber ensembles direct to people’s homes all over the globe.  The platform is currently the only streaming service that is available in China through their Mandarin website, http://qchamberstream.com.cn/, and was recently named the number one platform based on accessibility and quality of production for Chinese audiences by Culture and Tourism and the popular Chinese blog and WeChat channel, Real Music. Helping to promote the revival of chamber music and bridging the gap of live music during the pandemic and beyond, the channel allows people across the world to have access to the highest quality performances by renowned artists.

“At first, we came up with the idea of a concert to raise money for freelance musicians shortly before the shut down here in Germany,” said Tanja Dorn, Owner and President of Dorn Music. “We had great success in raising funds and reached more than 90,000 viewers. We took that experience and the excitement from our audience and decided we wanted to continue creating and sharing the highest-quality broadcast concerts.”

“We are the only streaming service able to put content out in China,” adds Bernhard Fleischer, Leading Producer of Concert Broadcasts and Founder of Bernhard Fleischer Moving Images. “Young artists from Asia, as well as the US and Europe, are getting more and more traction for all the right reasons and we want to share the richness of Chamber and Recital Music with our Chinese and international fans.”

QChamberstream launched in April 2020 and has produced nine different concerts with artists such as Christoph Koncz, Gaby Moreno, Xinyuan Wang, Christian Schmitt, and more.  Partnering with venues chosen for their extraordinary aesthetic and impeccable sound systems, as well as festivals and presenters to help expand their reach worldwide, the channel allows viewers to feel like they are experiencing concerts first-hand, not through a computer or TV screen.

Performances are available through QChamberstream.com, or QChamberstream.com.cn for concerts exclusive to China, beginning on the date and time of the performance for livestream.  Tickets for the concerts can be purchased on QChamberstream’s websites, through PayPal, AliPay, WeChat pay, and Ticketmaster’s Universe ticketing platform.  Tickets range between $5 and $25 and the broadcasts can be accessed for a certain number of weeks after the live date depending on content.

The next major streams for the Chinese market start next week.  QChamberstream was able to obtain broadcasts created at MOZARTWOCHE 2021, a festival run by Rolando Villazón, featuring artists like Magdalena Kožená, Thomas Hengelbrock and many more.
