Silicon Valley veteran to play central role in Lightspeed’s global expansion, building on track record of creating diverse and inclusive teams

Lightspeed POS announces the appointment of Marty Reaume to the newly created role of Chief People Officer. In the position, Reaume will lead Lightspeed’s talent development and build on the company’s diverse and inclusive hiring practices during a noteworthy period of company growth.

Recognized this year as one of the Top 50 Women in Technology by the American National Diversity Council, Reaume will spearhead global programs to develop talent to further Lightspeed’s goal of empowering independent businesses. She joins Lightspeed as the company continues its expansion to address growing worldwide demand among SMBs implementing cloud technology to run and grow their business.

Reaume brings more than 15 years of experience building world-class teams and workplace cultures within Silicon Valley-based technology companies to the role. Having served as Chief People Officer for Twilio, Fitbit and Netsuite, Reaume’s expertise will be instrumental as Lightspeed aims to become the leading global end-to-end platform serving complex SMBs.
