DeepIntent Expands New York City Headquarters

Tony Sherry Joins As VP, Agency Partnerships And Engineering Team Grows

DeepIntent, a marketing technology company powered by artificial intelligence, has expanded its headquarters in New York City, adding a senior member to the leadership team as well as building out its engineering and data science group. Over the past two months, DeepIntent has doubled in size and anticipates continuing that growth into 2018.

Tony Sherry joins the DeepIntent team as Vice President of Agency Partnerships. Sherry is responsible for connecting media buyers such as agencies and brands with the increasingly powerful DeepIntent marketing platform. Most recently, he held senior roles at search technology company Swoop and at Ground Truth (formerly xAd). Sherry reports directly to Chris Paquette, DeepIntent’s CEO and Co-Founder.

“I’m thrilled to join the DeepIntent team and to help the company make strategic partnerships in the digital advertising industry. DeepIntent is among a new breed within the ecosystem that is applying AI in a unique, innovative and authentic way. I’m very excited to be working alongside Chris and the rest of the team to help marketers and advertisers apply AI-driven insights to their campaigns,” said Sherry.

DeepIntent Co-Founder and CTO Mohamed Nouh is also building out the company’s engineering and data science team, which is focused on developing DeepIntent’s self-service offering, delivering a tighter integration with client first-party datasets and the company’s proprietary DMP and DSP. DeepIntent has hired six new engineers this year and plans to open several additional developer positions in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision/image processing and machine learning.

“We are extremely pleased to be growing at such an incredible pace – over 30% month to month – and continuing to bring in skilled talent. We are meeting great candidates and are excited for the contributions they will bring to our technology and clients. We are continuously working on improving our products to provide our brand and agency partners better ROI for their programmatic investment,” said Paquette.

Over the past several months, DeepIntent has also opened a development operations office in India. The office is projected to have about 20 employees by the end of 2017.
