The 5,000-piece collection offers exclusive perks and access to Mardi Gras 2023

New Orleans-based Web3 venture studio NieuxCo announced the launch of the first ever Mardi Gras-themed NFT collection, designed by the 504 founding members of the Nieux Society to celebrate innovation, community, and creator empowerment. Each unique NFT captures a personal view of Mardi Gras through the assistance of AI-generative tools to produce the 5,000 pieces—the largest, community-led, AI-generated NFT collection to-date.

“AI technology connects and strengthens real-world communities in ways that were never accessible nor possible before,” said Tim Williamson, Co-Founder and CEO of NieuxCo. “Nieux Society members used this cutting-edge technology to create a collective vision for Mardi Gras, while utilizing NFT technology to provide holders exclusive access, benefits, and an ongoing invitation to join us on our journey to help New Orleans’ realize her full creative potential.”

The first edition Mardi Gras NFTs hold unique utility, granting owners access to the Nieux Campus on St. Charles Avenue during the parades, special events, private parties, food and drink, exclusive performances, bathrooms, and more. Additionally, NieuxCo will be implementing digital doubloons throughout the city that can only be seen by Mardi Gras NFT holders. The discovery of a digital doubloon unlocks perks, such as a free drink at the venue where the doubloon was found.
