Typeform Appoints JD Sherman to Board of Directors

As a seasoned executive with decades of expertise in helping organizations scale growth, Sherman will be a valuable asset to the Board as Typeform continues to expand its offerings

Typeform, the intuitive form-builder and conversational data collection platform, announced the appointment of JD Sherman to its Board of Directors. As former CEO of Dashlane and President and Chief Operating Officer of Hubspot, Sherman brings decades of leadership experience and expertise in scaling organizations and driving product-led growth.

Most recently, Sherman served as CEO of Dashlane, and is still currently still involved at the company as an advisor. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Hubspot, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Sherman took the company’s annual recurring revenue from $25 million to $1 billion. Prior to HubSpot, Sherman served as Chief Financial Officer of Akamai, where he was responsible for finance, strategic planning, and corporate development. During his tenure, Akamai grew from over $200 million to $1.2 billion in revenue, with over 2,000 employees globally, and was added to the S&P 500 index. JD also previously served as the Chief Financial Executive of IBM’s $21 billion Systems and Technology Group.

In addition to Typeform, Sherman sits on the board of Mark43 and The Wanderlust Group. He holds a BA in Economics from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
