SmartBug Media – a leading intelligent inbound marketing agency that assists businesses in generating leads, increasing awareness, and building brand loyalty through inbound marketing, digital strategy, design, marketing automation, and public relations – announced the addition of Damon Yerian as Vice President of Creative. In this role, Yerian will lead the in-house creative team; working to yield award-winning work while driving leads for the sales teams.
Yerian previously served as the VP of Creative Services for Gilbreath Communications, Inc., a multi-million-dollar advertising and marketing agency, where he managed and mentored the creative team and their day-to-day operations. While in this role, Yerian contributed to the agency being inducted into the Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame, received more than 75 awards from the American Advertising Federation, the American Marketing Association, and the Public Relations Society of America, and was honored with four national Telly Awards for video and broadcast development.

Yerian will work with the creative team to create deeper connections with current customers while developing innovative ways to extend SmartBug’s content development offerings.

Yerian has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Missouri State University and currently serves as the Membership Director for the American Advertising Federation (AAF), Seattle Chapter. He also has served as a panelist and moderator for various AAF programs and has judged several regional AAF award competitions.
