Former CTO, IBM Watson Solutions, Sridhar Sudarsan, Joins SparkCognition

The Fastest Growing Company in Central Texas Adds Established Senior Executive as Chief Technology Officer

Award-winning artificial intelligence (AI) company, SparkCognition, announced the appointment of Sridhar Sudarsan as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With deep expertise in AI applications, Sudarsan brings over two decades of experience as a senior technology executive to SparkCognition.

Prior to his role at SparkCognition, Sudarsan served as CTO of IBM Watson Platform and Partnerships, where he led the development and partnership strategy for IBM Watson. During his 20 year career, Sudarsan also advanced the company’s growth as Watson’s Chief Architect and drove a variety of initiatives with key clients. He was awarded the title of Distinguished Engineer (DE), one of the company’s highest technical honors, recognizing “outstanding and sustained technical achievement and leadership.”

In his new role as the CTO of SparkCognition, Sudarsan will lead the company’s product and technical strategy. Sudarsan will work alongside AI and industry experts, such as Prof. Bruce Porter, two-time Chair of the University of Texas Computer Science Department and Chief Science Officer at SparkCognition.
