Longtime Cleo technology partner Riverhead Data Synergies, a System Integrator (SI) with expertise in business-to-business (B2B) supply chain processes, has implemented Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) for joint customer R.C. Moore, Inc., a 67-year-old family-run freight logistics and transportation company with headquarters in Scarborough, ME and locations throughout the U.S. East Coast.

Acting as a Cleo SI for R.C. Moore, Riverhead defined and implemented the logistics company’s mission-critical evolution from a traditional on-prem solution hosted on a third-party’s infrastructure to a more modern and efficient cloud-based one, namely the Cleo Integration Cloud. The migration to CIC was completed without any impact to production and the transition was seamless for the R.C. Moore trading partners, thanks in large part to the experience of the Riverhead team.

Prior to moving to CIC as part of its company’s cloud strategy, R.C. Moore’s on-premises solution consisted of early generation Cleo solutions for data movement (Cleo Harmony) and data transformation (Cleo Clarify). However, due to infrastructure issues R.C. Moore began experiencing costly performance issues (e.g., platform instability, missing load tenders, etc.).

R.C. Moore essentially had no visibility, control, or ability to scale, which is why they chose to modernize their IT landscape with CIC and deploy a solution using a unique blend of Self-service and Managed Services to improve control and visibility.
