“With a number of key brand expansion opportunities on the horizon for Lion Athletics – led by our historic September 11th football game at Globe Life Park – we know it is a unique time to catch lightning in a bottle,” said Texas A&M-Commerce Director of Athletics Tim McMurray. “As we pursued a partner that could assist us in maximizing opportunities for engaging our alumni, fans and friends in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth market, Taymar’s strategic acumen jumped off the page to us. It is a thrill to lock arms with Mark Dyer and his team as we advance our sales and engagement efforts. We also offer sincere gratitude to Leona Marketing Group for guiding us through this unique process.”
Texas A&M-Commerce is the first NCAA Division II institution to engage Taymar and represents the company’s entry into Texas.
“From the start, our goal at Taymar has been to serve collegiate athletics departments across the spectrum and we are so happy to begin working for Texas A&M-Commerce and Tim McMurray as our first Division II program,” said Taymar Founder/CEO Mark Dyer. “This is also our first full-service ticket sales and sponsorship client in the great state of Texas. When you drive onto the campus and walk into the athletics department, you know quickly that something special is brewing at A&M-Commerce, and we’re grateful we’re going to be a part of it.”
