Five9 Expands Global Footprint with New Data Centers in India

Leading CX platform establishes two new data centers to support multi-national enterprises serving customers across the globe

Five9, provider of the Intelligent CX Platform, announced the expanded availability in India with the addition of two new Five9 Data Centers in Delhi and Mumbai, India, to support both local and multi-national enterprises powering customer experience strategies in-region. Additionally, Five9 announced it has achieved Department of Telecommunications (DOT) Unified License (Virtual Network Operator) (UL VNO) licensing to provide Access Services, National Long Distance and International Long Distance in India. This allows Five9 to partner with local carriers and ISPs, to offer both telephony and network connectivity within the region powering next-generation customer experience.

Today’s consumers expect seamless and cohesive experiences that deliver value at every touchpoint. With expanded availability in India, Five9 customers can now leverage a single platform to support multiple India calling regions. Additionally, Five9 customers can leverage Five9 as their primary telecommunications provider, or leverage their existing in country Telco service with the Five9’s BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) solution. With faster implementation and support in the region, Five9 customers can quickly optimize their CX strategies to scale operations, drive brand value, and bolster reliability in the region. New regional capabilities include:

  • Five9 achieves India DOT certification (UL VNO license) in India: With this new certification, Five9 customers can simplify telephony integrations to support calls into/out of/and within India.
  • Five9 now provides telephony and networking in India: Customers can buy phone numbers (DIDs and TFN), local and long distance service from Five9. Five9 customers can effectively power agents in India by routing their voice traffic over Five9 Agent Connect (Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)) or Five9 Direct Connect (International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC)).
