MANTA Names Tampa Bay, Florida Its U.S. Headquarters

The new headquarters reflects MANTA’s ongoing efforts to grow in the U.S. and globally

Data lineage platform MANTA announced it has established Tampa, FL as its new U.S. headquarters. The announcement comes as the company, founded in 2016 in Prague, Czechia, has witnessed significant global growth of its world-class data lineage platform and has grown its North American presence as a result.

“The surge of Tampa’s tech scene is a major reason why we decided to build our team in this hub of top talent,” said Tomas Kratky, MANTA’s founder and CEO. “MANTA’s commitment to improving data visibility for enterprises of all sizes depends on the talent of its employees. Tampa is the perfect place to continue to build our team of experts who will help drive the company’s growth in the U.S. We plan to continue to grow in the area and expand our presence here.”

The new headquarters is part of a wider global expansion, as MANTA has also opened offices in Lisbon, Portugal and Dublin, Ireland this year. Out of dozens of new hires made throughout 2021 and 2022 to date, two thirds of new employees are located in Tampa.

The benefits of MANTA’s lineage platform and deep capabilities of its technology have attracted investment in two funding rounds to date, the most recent being a $13 million Series A round with Bessemer Venture Partners, SAP.io, Senovo VC, and Credo Ventures. This funding has enabled the company to significantly scale its team.
