Alliance of Channel Women (ACW), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, today announced it has launched ACW Communities to enable ACW members to network from home. The free virtual meet-up service is made possible through a partnership with longtime ACW sponsor 8×8 Inc. (NYSE:EGHT), a leading integrated cloud communications platform, which is hosting ACW Communities using 8×8 Video Meetings.

“The goal of the Alliance of Channel Women is to empower and advance women’s careers and leadership roles in the technology channel,” said Amy Bailey, president of Alliance of Channel Women and vice president of marketing at Telarus. “As an all-volunteer organization, we believe that participation unites us as members, advances our charter and promotes our personal brands. Given the current shift to work remotely, by creating ACW Communities, we are delivering additional value for members, who can now virtually meet, connect and collaborate powered by 8×8 Video Meetings.”
