MediaPlatform broadened the number of video delivery technologies supported in its Broadcaster live webcasting platform with the addition of the StriveCast P2P eCDN to the list of its peering partners.
StriveCast’s P2P eCDN is a browser-based peering solution that lets organizations deliver high-quality, scalable live video streams at minimum bandwidth requirements. StriveCast Enterprise establishes connections between viewer devices and allows them to cache and share video data with one another. P2P minimizes bandwidth use by as much as 95% by reducing the need for viewers to each pull video streams from origin media servers.
