Deluxe Corporation Joins Forces With Twin Cities Creative Agencies to Lead Company’s Branding & Web Initiatives for Growth

Rebrand Efforts to Support New Go-To-Market Strategy Announced First Quarter

Deluxe Corporation announced it is working with two world-class Minneapolis creative agencies to accelerate organic revenue growth through enhanced company branding and web presence. Under the helm of President and CEO Barry McCarthy, Deluxe is undergoing a transformation from a legacy manufacturing company to become a Trusted, Tech-Enabled Solutions Company.

“Internally, we are breaking down siloes and connecting across the company. MONO and Clockwork have embraced this collaborative approach to tackle this work together with our team to position Deluxe to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

The transformation of 105-year-old Deluxe is leveraging the company’s diverse portfolio of products and services to help its customers succeed. The company operates in 4 product areas: Payments, Cloud-Based Services, Promotional Products and Checks.

The company selected MONO to deliver a new brand strategy that will reposition Deluxe as a technology-driven partner to its 5 million small business customers and 4,600 financial clients. MONO will help bring the transformation to life by showcasing the firm’s wide array of products and services that help financial institutions, enterprise clients and small businesses reach and acquire new customers and improve operating efficiency. MONO has a proven track record of inventing and re-inventing historic brands and has worked with numerous tech companies including Google and Symantec. MONO is a design-driven advertising and branding agency founded in Minneapolis in 2004.

Deluxe enterprise web strategy will be undertaken by Clockwork, a women-led agency also based in Minneapolis. Clockwork has expertise working with environments as complex as government websites, but always approaching with a consumer-focused lens. Clockwork brings years of design and technology experience to the table for Deluxe, focusing on digital consulting, strategy and software engineering. Its broad experience in the tech sector aligns with the new Deluxe go-to-market strategy.

“When we announced our new go-to-market strategy in April, we stepped into a new era for Deluxe. We have an incredible opportunity to better serve our customers through the full spectrum of our solutions and our brand and web strategy are core to how we will communicate that,” explained McCarthy. “This project is a critical step in this journey, and we are excited to begin this work to introduce a new Deluxe to the marketplace.”
