AddShoppers Adds Former Red Ventures CTO AJ Ratani to Advisory Board

Veteran Technology Leader to Help Guide Growth and Innovation for Leading Customer Identity and Data Marketing Platform

AddShoppers, the people-based marketing platform that helps brands grow beyond traditional CRM, has named Abhishek (AJ) Ratani, former Red Ventures CTO, to its advisory board. AJ Ratani joins Peter Shanley — former CFO of Razorfish and SapientNitro — as the second member of AddShoppers’ advisory board. In addition to being the preferred customer identity partner of Oracle Commerce Cloud, AddShoppers’ current client roster includes HanesBrands, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Brandless.

AJ brings a wealth of valuable experience to AddShoppers as the former president of RV Technology and CTO at Charlotte-based Red Ventures. Red Ventures is a technology-driven customer acquisition company that has grown significantly since its inception. AJ held various roles within the organization, starting as an engineer 13 years ago and growing within the organization to run Red Ventures largest and fastest-growing businesses. AJ’s other passions range from playing with the latest technology, including blockchain, to being an investor in great ideas, finding ways to help other entrepreneurs succeed and being a voice for inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

“The breadth and depth of AJ’s experience is remarkable. His journey navigating Red Ventures’ rapid growth will be an incredible asset for AddShoppers as we continue to scale. We’re beyond excited to have him aboard,” said Jon West, co-founder and CEO of AddShoppers.

The AddShoppers customer identity platform sees over 150 million unique shoppers on a monthly basis. The platform plugs directly into AddShoppers’ robust omnichannel campaign management tools and predictive scoring capabilities.
